Our source order
For controls, supported devices, the stated objective, developer credit, and availability, we start with the live Poki game page. For release notes or changes that Poki does not detail, we may cite a direct statement from Wackytoaster. Current facts are rechecked before a substantial update.
Community comments can help identify a question worth testing, but they are not automatically treated as official or as our own experience. Secondary game portals are discovery leads, not preferred evidence.
How claims are labeled
- Official platform fact: visible on Poki’s public game page when last checked.
- Developer statement: posted by Wackytoaster in a traceable source.
- Verified play: directly observed in a recorded test, with device and date boundaries.
- General advice: a cautious platform-game habit, not a claim about a specific hidden mechanic or level.
- Unknown: not published as a fact until a reliable source or direct test resolves it.
Repository source ledger
Each research source has a stable ID, checked date, claim list, reliability note, verification status, and conflict links. Published evidence pages show those IDs beside claims and repeat the relevant sources in a visible source section. Secondary portals remain leads in the ledger even when their claims are not allowed into public copy.
Current play-testing boundary
Chrome-on-Linux tests currently confirm that the Poki game rendered with WebGL in that environment and supplied directly completed routes for Worlds 1 through 7. They are not mobile or cross-browser evidence. Unverified later-World walkthrough records, mechanics research, and troubleshooting research remain noindex and outside the sitemap until their structured records meet the publication gate.
A future walkthrough must identify what was tested, keep unknown fields empty, save only first-party screenshots, and avoid extrapolating one room into a claim about the whole game.
Updates, numbers, and corrections
Ratings, vote totals, trending positions, and level totals can change. We avoid using them as evergreen facts unless they are needed, timestamped, and sourced. For example, two developer posts say that 20 levels and then another 25 levels were added; they do not establish a final total, so this site does not turn them into one.
When a source changes or a statement proves wrong, we revise the page and update its review date. We do not preserve an inaccurate sentence merely because it previously ranked.
Translations and generated assistance
Tools may assist research, coding, drafting, or translation, but every published locale must preserve the same evidence boundary and read naturally in that language. Unreviewed translations remain unpublished and absent from hreflang and the sitemap.
Commercial independence
The site has no advertising or affiliate placement at launch. A normal link to Poki is an editorial route to the official place to play, not a claim of partnership. If a commercial relationship is ever introduced, it must be disclosed beside the relevant link and must not change the factual conclusion.
