Read each room before reusing a previous solution
Oozy’s Lab reuses controls but changes what the room does. A button may move a platform, wall, saw, finish or moon. A shape pickup may make Oozy tall, wide, round or able to hook over an edge. Gravity and screen-wrap switches can also change which direction is safe.
The reliable approach is to watch the changed object after every switch and treat the published Level route—not the mechanic name—as the instruction. The records below state exactly where each finding was tested.
Current-build and official evidence
Mechanics we can describe without guessing
Buttons and room changes
Directly testedPoki and Wackytoaster say that buttons trigger room changes. Current playtests directly reproduced switches that move platforms, saws, walls, finishes and moons across Worlds 1–8.
Current boundary: Each published walkthrough records its own button order and effect. A switch result in one room is not assumed to apply elsewhere.
Shape changing
Directly testedDirect tests reproduced tall, L-shaped, round, T-shaped and wide forms. Some rooms begin in a changed form, while others use a red item or fruit during the route.
Current boundary: The shape, pickup and route effect are verified only in the cited Levels. Shape names are plain visual descriptions, not official class names.
Gravity and screen wrapping
Directly testedCurrent routes used gravity reversal in Worlds 6 and 8, low gravity in World 6, and vertical screen wrapping in Worlds 7 and 8. World 1 also includes a ball-form route driven by gravity.
Current boundary: The safe directions and timing differ by room. A tested wrap sequence or gravity switch order is not a global control rule.
Paint trail
Official descriptionPoki says Oozy spreads color across the surfaces touched during play.
Current boundary: A navigation or puzzle function has not been established; it is described only as an observable visual effect.

Level selection
Directly testedPoki lists the L key for choosing a Level. A current direct test opened the selector, showed World 1 Levels 1–5, unlocked World 2, Level 1 and traversed the selector through World 19.
Current boundary: The L key, World 1 unlock transition and visible selector endpoint are verified. Broader save, cloud-sync and unlock rules remain untested.
Level-specific result
Twenty-five tested finishes worked without the moon
The 40 published routes cover Worlds 1–8. In 25 of those Levels, the
game advanced while the moon remained uncollected, directly proving
that the moon was not required in those particular rooms. The other 15
routes completed successfully but did not isolate the moon condition,
so their records remain unknown.
No published playtest has proved that a moon is required. That still does not justify calling every moon optional: untested and non-isolated Levels keep an unknown value until a moon-free completion is reproduced.

Pinball mechanics
Recorded build onlyA player and Wackytoaster discussed pinball Levels, while S9 records a small-block field and several silver-bumper rooms with pinball-like motion.
Current boundary: The video does not label each room as pinball; the current physics, room count, and winning inputs remain unverified.
Level skip
Partially testedWackytoaster mentioned level skipping in a June 4 forum reply. A current World 9 capture also shows the game’s built-in SKIP?/AD control.
Current boundary: The current control was not activated. Its trigger conditions, ad behavior, availability by device and any price remain unknown.

Poki's July 2026 release metadata is recorded separately from the developer page and forum launch dates. The moon wording is not treated as proof that every current level has the same completion condition. S13 directly completed the five tested World 1 Levels without collecting their moons.

The finish wording differs from Poki's moon wording. Their exact relationship remains unresolved until direct testing covers current level types.

Local game-only screenshots include each starting room, the World 4 selector and the World 5 unlock screen. S8 was used only to cross-check route order; no S8 frame is republished. The playtest used Chrome 150.0.7871.114 on Linux (X11), software WebGL, keyboard input and an isolated task-owned headless browser with a visible game canvas. Local game-only screenshots include each starting room, two key World 5 Level 4 route states and the World 6 unlock screen. The corrected August 2 S8 timeline contains recorded-build route comparisons for all five Levels; no S8 frame is republished. The moon requirements for Levels 1, 3 and 4 remain unknown because their completed routes collected those moons.

The playtest used the existing headed Chrome 150.0.7871.114 session on Linux (X11), software WebGL and keyboard input through an exact task-owned CDP target. Local game-only screenshots cover every World 6 starting room and key states in Levels 1, 3 and 4. The playtest used the existing headed Chrome 150.0.7871.114 session on Linux (X11), software WebGL and keyboard input through an exact borrowed CDP target. Read-only runtime observations were used to identify room objects and preserve the World 9 boundary; no room object, player position or completion flag was changed. Partial playtest used Google Chrome 150.0.7871.114 on Linux (X11) with software WebGL. Keyboard input and read-only runtime inspection were pinned to the exact task-owned background target and its game worker. No room object, player position, completion flag or unlock state was changed. Further testing paused when Poki entered an ad-break loading screen that remained unresolved during a bounded wait; no extension or browser-global setting was changed, and the page was not refreshed to bypass the break. GLM Vision was used only to screen the local capture, and its mistaken classification of the game's built-in SKIP?/AD control as third-party advertising was rejected after direct image and page-context review.
